Filter selection is very important and should be matched to the type of system in operation as well as the water source available. Toro's range of filtration equipment is the most extensive available today and can be designed to filter water from all sources.
The Toro range of filters includes sand media, suction scanner, hydrocyclone, screen and disc filters with a full range of accessories available to complete any full filtration system.
Plastic screen filters are ideal for the smaller drip and micro sprinkler systems with flows up to 15m3/hr. They are available in sizes 20mm, 25mm, 32mm and 40mm. Available in 150 mesh / 100 micron screen. Maximum pressure rating 1000 kPa.
Plastic Disc Filters are ideal for smaller drip and micro sprinkler systems with flows up to 7m3/hr. Sizes available are 25mm and 40 mm. Available in 150 mesh / 100 micron discs. Maximum operating pressure 1000 kPa.
Plastic In-Line Screen Filters are available in three sizes, 13mm, 19mm and 25mm. Their maximum working pressure is 300kPa.
Manual Screen Filters are suitable for micro irrigation systems or as back up filter at control valves in the field.
Automatic electric and automatic hydraulic self cleaning screen filters like the AF200 (Bell Filter, Automatic Suction Scanner) and AF800 (Parallel and In-Line Hydraulic Auto-Screen Filter Suction Scanner) are for use with drip, micro and sprinkler irrigation systems and back up filtration at the control valves in the field.
All screens are 120 mesh (standard) with other screens available upon request.
The AF9800 Series hydro Electric filter is for use in agricultural and turf irrigation systems as the main or secondary filtration for sprinklers, drip, mini and micro irrigation.
The AF900 Electric High Volume filters is for use with drip, micro and sprinkler irrigation systems as the main filter station.
Toro media filters are vertical epoxy coated carbon steel tanks, with a maximum pressure rating of 800kPa. They are designed for use in large commercial irrigation or industrial applications, where a high level of quality filtration is required.
Tanks are available in sizes 300, 400, 500, 635, 760, 900 and 1220 mm diameter.
They are also available in Grade 304 Stainless Steel, pressure rating to 1000 kPa.
Suitable for use with sand, gravel or a combination of both media.
Hydrocyclones or Sand Separators are designed to remove sand from bore water and as a pre-filter to remove a large amount of debris prior to the primary filter.
Sizes available are 25mm to 150mm, and flow range from 3.8 to 225m3/hr. Maximum operating pressure is 800 kPa.
